Would you like your dog to focus on you even when exciting stuff is going on? To walk reliably by your side? To come charging back to you when you call? To settle calmly when you ask? This five-week course powers up your dog's training in so many ways! The secret? Understanding how to get your dog to make smart choices. That means doing what you would like them to do, not because you're constantly telling them, but because that's what they CHOOSE to do. It's the ideal course if you have done puppy training, or if your dog is in that tricky 'teenage' stage, or if your dog simply needs a better overall level of training. Using positive, proven training methods, we take basic skills to the next level and beyond: * Learn to control impulsive behaviour * Get your dog’s focus on you regardless of what is going on * Power up your recall * Make lead walking a pleasure * How to settle calmly in all kinds of settings * PLUS a host of useful tips, skills and games…. Classes are held in small groups with professional instructors in a large, airy barn. If your dog is worried by other dogs, talk to us before booking as we may be able to offer more suitable alternatives. Activities can be adapted to different needs/sizes/ages of dogs and their humans, so please make sure you tell of us any special needs on your booking form. Each session comes with handout notes so you are fully supported and able to work at your dog's own pace.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel or defer your class, please let as know as soon as possible. Refunds cannot be made within 7 days of the start of a course. Refunds that are issued are subject to a £2.50 admin fee to cover the charges HotDog Training incurs during the booking and refund process.
